Job Description Maintenance Engineer Contract: 6 Months We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation on a 6-month contract based in Leek. This is a day-based role supporting maintenance activities within a highly regulated industrial environment. Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment Perform pipefitting and mechanical maintenance tasks Conduct basic electrical fault-finding and diagnostics Undertake function testing and signal checking Execute flange repairs and maintenance Support continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial environment Basic electrical fault-finding capability Chemical / Petrochemical Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences FMCG / Manufacturing Oil & Gas / Refinery Power Generation / Waste-to-Energy / Steel Strong practical, hands-on engineering skills Flexible and adaptable to site requirements Immediate availability or short notice preferred Local candidates or those willing to commute to Leek are highly desirable
