We are partnering with a leading global commodities trading organization seeking an experienced Lead ETRM Solutions Architect to drive the design and evolution of enterprise trading technology platforms.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining architecture across the full commodities trading lifecycle, partnering with business and technology stakeholders, and guiding the delivery of scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of ETRM and trading technology solutions.
- Define integration strategies across trading, risk, operations, settlements, and finance systems.
- Design scalable data flows, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to global engineering teams.
- Drive cloud adoption, platform modernization, and best engineering practices.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape technology roadmaps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in ETRM architecture within commodities trading.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back trading processes.
- Experience with system integrations, distributed architectures, and enterprise data platforms.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Java, APIs, messaging technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience working with global teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Exposure to commodity exchanges and energy/commodity trading environments is highly desirable.
