Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a qualified lawyer to join their Legal team supporting the Derivatives Execution & Clearing (DEC) business. This is a hybrid role based in London, offering the opportunity to work on complex legal matters within a high-performing legal function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and regulatory advice on derivatives clearing and prime services across the UK and EMEA
  • Draft and negotiate legal documentation, including under FIA terms, and support transactional structuring
  • Assist with internal approvals (TACs/NACs) and respond to stakeholder queries
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of client documentation templates
  • Coordinate with internal legal and business teams to ensure smooth delivery of legal services
  • Support internal training and oversee junior team members or trainees
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and contribute to legal risk management and process improvements

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with relevant experience in derivatives, clearing, or financial regulations
  • Strong knowledge of FIA Terms of Business and OTC derivatives
