Lorien are currently supporting our financial services client with the addition of a Junior Cloud Engineer for an 18 Months FTC to support their Mobile App and Middleware platform.
Working within an established team, you will troubleshoot and resolve production incidents or problems independently and escalate to Senior Engineers if required. You will also implement agreed system enhancements within the cloud infrastructure and maintain scripts, automating code, reviewing logs, assisting build and configuration activity and maintaining the technical estate.
Experience:
- Knowledge of containers within AWS - Kubernetes/Docker
- Knowledge of IBM Middleware (API Connect)
- Excellent mindset to providing a great service
- Experience with Kong, Istio, Calico, Datadog and Terraform
The client is aware that candidates may lack on the above skills but a majority would be an advantage with the willingness to learn the technologies above and open to a challenge.
Salary is paying up to £45,000 with bonus and excellent benefits package. The role will be on a hybrid basis with one day a week in the Coventry office.
