A Trust dedicated to providing high-quality education across a network of public schools is seeking an IT Network Manager to ensure the reliability and security of its infrastructure.
In collaboration with the Deputy of IT, the successful candidate will review the current hardware and software resources and work closely with IT Technicians to provide day-to-day support, including 3rd line support, WIFI, Office 365, firewalls, and hardware devices.
Salary: £40,000 + 23% pension, 29 holidays + bank holidays
Location/Hybrid: X5 days onsite to Letchworth Garden City, SG6 (Not negotiable)
Requirements:
- Applicant must own a car as this role requires visiting multiple sites throughout the year (travel expense covered)
- Minimum of 4 years experience within IT Network/Systems
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of Advanced networks, PC hardware, Audio Visual, Office 365 and Firewalls
- Strong communication skills with experience of working with tricky stakeholders and gaining trust in their role as a Technical Advisor
- Previous experience with line managing IT Technicians
- Experience working within education or public industry
