This is an excellent opportunity to join the Material Inventory team of a leading global aerospace company. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient handling of all material requirements for the company's UK-based aircraft fleet. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the Inventory Controller will be responsible for processing material orders, overseeing stock movements, and maintaining accurate records in the SAP system. You will work closely with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure all items are unloaded, handled, and stored according to the company's strict quality and airworthiness protocols.

Key responsibilities of the Inventory Controller include:

  • Conducting material orders and movements in the correct priority sequence
  • Ensuring all pick, pack, and handling transactions are performed accurately
  • Putting stock away in the designated locations after picking and packing
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times
  • Identifying and reporting any process errors or system issues in a timely manner

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a materials support or supply chain role
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management and information systems (SAP, MS Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations and COSHH
