We're working with a key public sector client who is looking to bring in an experienced HR Generalist to support their People team on an initial contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on HR role with a mix of operational delivery and stakeholder support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice to managers (ER, policy, casework)
  • Supporting employee engagement and people initiatives
  • Assisting with L&D and capability programmes
  • Producing and using people data / MI to support decisions
  • Contributing to organisational change and HR projects

What we're looking for:

  • Strong HR generalist experience (Senior Advisor / HRBP level)
  • Confident handling employee relations casework
  • Experience working with stakeholders and managers
  • Exposure to change, engagement or L&D activity
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment

The role:

  • Hybrid working (1-2 days onsite in Edinburgh)
