I am working with an internationally recognised company contributing to a wide range of marketing, digital and technology procurement activities. You will work closely with Marketing, Digital and IT stakeholders to shape and deliver effective procurement solutions and contracts that align with organisational priorities. The role focuses on delivering value, managing risk and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through strong commercial and contract management practices.
As a Category Manager / Contract Manager, you will lead or support the development and delivery of pre‑contract and category strategies, including total cost of ownership analysis, market research and value-for-money assessments. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, from sourcing through to ongoing supplier and contract management, across Marketing and Digital suppliers.
The role operates on a hybrid working model, with flexibility to work from home and a requirement to attend the office two to three days per week.
- Lead a sub-category pipeline of Marketing, Digital and Technology procurement activities.
- Develop and implement innovative commercial strategies using creative models, market-leading technologies and emerging trends to drive competitive advantage.
- Challenge business plans to ensure robust approaches that maximise commercial opportunity and mitigate risk.
- Establish and administer robust contract management processes to realise full value from sourcing activities, while supporting a strong behavioural safety agenda.
- Engage proactively with the external market on procurement matters, including new commercial models, market shifts, innovative products and emerging trends, embedding best practice into operations.
- Coordinate and chair supplier management reviews to deliver benefits, savings and continuous improvement, while meeting contractual, regulatory and exit requirements.
- Coach contract owners on their day-to-day responsibilities, driving supplier performance in line with business objectives.
2+ years’ experience in Marketing, MarTech, Digital, Technology and/or Professional Services, with a strong commercial and contractual focus. Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions. Ability to interpret financial data and apply insights to commercial decision-making. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects requiring strong organisation, communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
Annual bonus of 10–20%. Matched pension contributions. Generous holiday allowance.
