Our client, a global company, are recruiting for a Head of PMO to join the team on a contract basis on a remote basis (Some very ad hoc travel to client sites).
MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR SC CLEARANCE
Role:
- Programme & Project Management: Supports the activity of defining policy and standards across the business.
- Governance: Support the activity of defining policy and standards, project/programme Governance processes.
- Planning & Scheduling: Create comprehensive, integrated plans at the project, programme and portfolio level for complex, standard and major projects and programmes and portfolios that enable effective monitoring and control. Create consolidated planning outputs to support programme and portfolio management reporting and governance.
- Resource Management: Identify and assign resources from a pool; support business decisions by assessing supply and demand, availability, utilisation and capacity to meet current and future demand.
- Risk & Issue Management: Establish, lead and manage the implementation of risk and issue management processes, tools and techniques across programme/portfolio.
- Data Analysis / Business Intelligence: Develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that allow raw data to be transformed into business insights.
- Delivery Support and Management: Provide specialist input, engagement and involvement with other business areas to support wider business outcomes.
Experience:
- Significant experience in project management and leadership roles.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience in implementing and improving PMO processes and procedures.
- Experience in managing budgets, timelines and resources.
