Senior Compliance Officer in Glasgow

We are seeking two Senior Compliance Officer to join our growing Compliance Independent Testing Europe (CIT-E) team based in Glasgow. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality independent testing and thematic reviews across CIB business lines in Europe, ensuring robust compliance controls and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute independent testing and thematic reviews across CIB business lines in Europe.
• Deliver impactful, timely reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Challenge and enhance the first line of defence (1LoD) control framework.
• Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with internal methodologies.
• Contribute to annual testing plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise effectively with stakeholders across Compliance, Business, and Risk functions.
• Assist with regulatory and internal audit queries as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Compliance within financial services, including thematic reviews and control testing.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and global banking products.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of specialist compliance tools is a plus.
