An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading international organisation as a Payroll Specialist . This role sits within the People function and plays a critical role in delivering an excellent reward and payroll administration service to employees and stakeholders across the business.
About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist , you will be responsible for delivering accurate, efficient and customer-focused reward and payroll support. Working closely with HR, Payroll and business stakeholders, you'll ensure colleagues receive the correct pay, benefits and statutory entitlements while maintaining compliance with legislation, policies and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Resolve reward, pay and payroll-related queries from employees, managers and stakeholders.
- Support annual reward activities including salary reviews, bonus administration and pay progression processes.
- Manage family-friendly leave cases, including maternity, paternity, adoption, neonatal and shared parental leave.
- Complete salary calculations and administer pay adjustments and overpayment recoveries.
- Maintain accurate HR and payroll records, ensuring data integrity and audit compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for reward and payroll administration matters.
- Partner closely with Payroll, HR and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help enhance service delivery.
- Use data and insight to prioritise workloads and resolve service issues effectively.

- Experience in Payroll
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including experience performing detailed pay calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Experience working with HR and payroll systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines and SLAs
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
