The Role

We're working with a major public sector organisation looking to bring in an experienced Integration Architect to support a large-scale digital programme. This is a key role focused on designing and governing how systems connect across a complex environment, using modern API-led and event-driven approaches.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design of system-to-system integrations across multiple platforms
  • Define and implement API-led and event-driven integration architectures
  • Design solutions using Boomi and AWS, ensuring scalable and secure connectivity
  • Establish and maintain integration standards, patterns and governance
  • Own and develop API strategies, including third-party integrations
  • Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and resilience requirements
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance to delivery teams
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, security teams, and suppliers

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Integration Architect (or similar)
  • Strong Boomi (Dell Boomi) experience in enterprise environments
  • Solid understanding of AWS for integration and API delivery
  • Experience designing API strategies and integration patterns
  • Knowledge of modern integration approaches: API-led architecture, event-driven systems, microservices/middleware
  • Experience working in large, complex environments (public sector preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
