A leading global investment bank is looking for a Trade Management Administrator to join a large, fast-paced Middle Office team in Glasgow on an initial 6-month contract. The Trade Management team provides administration activities supporting trade settlement in the market and accurate start-of-day positions for clients, covering trade capture, matching, settlement, and cash and stock reconciliation across Securities, Collateral, FX and Money Market products. The role sits primarily on the settlement side, working alongside the Middle Office Change team who manage client onboarding and change activity.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring high-quality client service delivery, referring complex or technical issues to senior colleagues as needed
- Supporting trade capture, matching, settlement and reconciliation activity across a varied client base
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, brokers, and custodians
- Adhering to core operating procedures and contributing to a strong risk and control environment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process/system enhancements
- Working across multiple markets in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
What we're looking for:
- Professional qualification (or equivalent level of expertise in relevant technical area)
- Strong working knowledge of policies/procedures and regulations within client delivery and company
- Strong risk management awareness
- Involvement in or lead on change initiatives with ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Strong client service skills with good written and oral English skills to allow concise explanations on technical issues where applicable
- Trade Management knowledge
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
