Job Title: Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator
Duration: 6 months
Base Location:Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth(Applicants should be based from one of the available office locations and be prepared to spend up to 50% of their working week in the office.)
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator to play a key role in the management and development of project information and business documentation across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Successful candidates will support the development of information management processes and procedures, while validating project information and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the configuration of modules within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to meet project and delivery team requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific information management processes and documentation, aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Support the upskilling of internal teams and external partners to ensure understanding of systems, processes, and required workflows.
- Act as the main point of contact for information management activities on assigned projects, coordinating the sharing of sensitive and confidential information where required.
- Verify and validate model information and asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness, liaising with project stakeholders to maintain consistency across projects.
Requirements
- Excellent administration and organisational skills, with experience using collaboration software and Common Data Environments. Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
- Proven project delivery experience with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage meeting schedules, and produce clear, concise reports.
- A data-driven approach, with experience providing technical support and identifying process improvements. Knowledge of Power BI and Scripting using Python or C# would be advantageous.
- Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM frameworks, and industry best practice relating to information management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and collaborative approach to achieving successful project outcomes.
