We are currently recruiting for a Systems Analyst with Defined Contribution experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract. Inside IR35 Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between product, business, and software development teams, ensuring technical requirements, architectural considerations, and best practices are embedded in product design and delivery.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technical steps, defining and prioritising features and initiatives that balance business, technology, and end-user needs.
- Lead business process modelling and ensure comprehensive, up-to-date system documentation to support technical clarity and traceability.
- Collaborate closely with developers to guide technical implementation, integration, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical risks and issues, providing clear progress reporting and escalation as required.
- Practical familiarity with web technologies, enterprise technology stacks, and relational databases (including SQL skills), with the ability to evaluate and recommend technical approaches.
- Experience collaborating with designers and developers, with a solid understanding of UX/UI processes and their technical implications.
- Ability to produce comprehensive application and business requirements, technical specifications, and maintain high-quality technical documentation in line with industry standards.
Experience:
- Familiarity with IT Quality Management frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards relevant to financial services.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, data analytics) and their application in financial products.
- Proven track record of evaluating and recommending new technologies, frameworks, or tools to enhance product capabilities.
- Experience mentoring or coaching technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of performance optimisation, scalability, and system reliability in enterprise environments.
- Ability to contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, and long-term product vision.
- Proven experience in systems analysis or technical business analysis within financial services, insurance, or pensions industries, with a strong track record of delivering technical solutions.
