Core Responsibilities:
- Analyse documents produced by the team (scheme structure + benefit basis) to understand calculation requirements.
- Develop & document pension calculation logic for:
- Deferred-to-retirement calculations
- Death in deferment
- Death in retirement
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in DB pensions calculations, including complex scenarios.
- Ability to:
- Interpret technical scheme documentation
- Write accurate manual calculations
- Identify required test cases and edge scenarios
- Testing experience specific to pension calculations (highly desirable).
Scope of Role:
Contractors won’t be doing configuration itself, the focus is purely analysis, calc build & testing.
