Senior Technical Project Manager (SaaS Implementations) - Edinburgh/Glasgow - 70K plus 10% Bonus Around 2 days per week in either office (whichever's best for you) Must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering vendor-led SaaS implementation projects About the Company Lorien's client is a fast-growing provider of a cloud-based platform that helps organisations automate and control large volumes of complex data. Their customer base spans startups through to well-established organisations across the UK and internationally. With data volumes rising and regulatory expectations increasing, demand for their technology is strong, and they are firmly positioned as a market leader. The Role You will lead the delivery of client implementation projects of a core SaaS platform, setting up and refining project management standards that help the Professional Services function deliver consistently to a high level. You will own engagements from kick-off through to go-live, keeping scope, timelines and budgets on track while ensuring clients are delighted with the outcome. This is a varied, high-visibility position. You will run several projects at once, coordinating a matrixed team and acting as the main link between internal colleagues and client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of client implementations of the core SaaS platform Build and maintain detailed project plans that balance speed of delivery with sensible use of resource, scope and budget - With around 3 to 4 projects on at any given time, and a average of 3-month turnaround Act as a key SME within a hybrid iterative Agile / Waterfall function, adapting to new projects as they come in and utilising appropriate methodologies and following processes Track and report on progress, milestones and momentum across a portfolio of concurrent projects Run clear and productive status meetings with project teams and clients, recording decisions, actions, risks and issues Guide, mentor and motivate less senior Project Managers within the team Resolve blockers and handle client queries and escalations to a positive outcome Raise risks and issues promptly, both internal and with client project leads, and agree mitigation Contribute to or lead the creation of core project documentation, such as charters, plans, issue logs, test plans and go-live runbooks Partner with Customer Success, Delivery and Marketing colleagues to build satisfied, referenceable clients and spot opportunities for growth Forecast resourcing needs to support company-wide planning About You Must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering vendor-led SaaS implementation projects Extensive technical project management experience ideally for external clients / 3rd party customers, with a track record of balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines Strong discipline in maintaining plans, risk and issue logs, action trackers and wider project governance Sound knowledge of the software delivery and implementation lifecycle, with a genuine interest in best practice A natural collaborator, comfortable working with teams from pre-sales through to software engineering, delivery and customer success Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting and welcome change Confident engaging with senior and executive stakeholders, both internal and external A commitment to continuous improvement Desirable Any relevant certifications would be a bonus Background in FinTech / FS Any skills with ADO / Azure DevOps Boards #J-18808-Ljbffr
