The Role
A large public‐sector organisation in Scotland is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join on an interim basis. The role will support a range of business and digital initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyse requirements, improve processes, and support project delivery. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week on site at one of the organisation's Scottish offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a range of business analysis techniques, including workshops, user stories, process modelling, and options analysis
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners
- Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support projects delivered through Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Contribute to business intelligence, data management, and risk management activities
- Produce high‐quality documentation to support decision‐making and delivery

- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical, modelling, and documentation capability
