One of Lorien's key public sector clients is looking for an Accessible Document Specialist to support the transfer and publication of accessible documents as part of a major website migration programme.
Initial 4-month contract with potential 2-month extension. Edinburgh based with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the transfer and publication of documents onto a new beta website
- Converting and publishing documents in accessible formats
- Ensuring documents meet accessibility standards before publication
- Working with website content and document repositories
- Supporting accessibility compliance across published digital content
- Working with technical and complex documentation where required
- Demonstrable experience applying WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility principles and standards
- Experience working with public sector websites
- Experience creating and managing documents for digital publication
- Experience working with HTML
- Strong attention to detail and accessibility-focused mindset
- Experience working with complex or technical content & public sector experience
