We’re looking to hire an IT Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a warm, established technology desk following a recent internal move. This is a genuine opportunity to inherit existing IT clients, ongoing relationships, and live recruitment demand across both permanent and contract hiring.
This is not a cold start. You’ll step into a desk with momentum, credibility, and the freedom to develop it further in a way that suits your strengths alongside other markets.
This is a full 360, dual‑desk position, covering both permanent and contract IT recruitment. You’ll manage roles end to end while acting as a trusted partner to clients and candidates.
Your role will include:
- Taking over and developing existing IT client relationships which accounts for 50% of their current billings.
- Managing live permanent and contract roles across the technology market (software, data, cloud, infrastructure, AV, PM, BA's etc.)
- Qualifying requirements properly and advising on market conditions, rates, availability, and hiring strategy
- Sourcing, engaging, and managing IT professionals through the full recruitment lifecycle
- Growing accounts through repeat business, extensions, and new hiring needs
You’ll have strong internal support but the autonomy to run your desk like your own business.
You’ll have previous experience running a 360 recruitment desk within IT ideally, with exposure to perm, contract, or both, and an appetite to work a dual‑desk model.
Consultant level – confident managing roles independently and building relationships with candidates and hiring managers
Senior Consultant level – proven billing track record, strong client ownership, and the credibility to advise rather than simply take orders
You’re organised, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving IT recruitment environment.
