Digital Learning Design Specialist 6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Malmesbury | Onsite Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Learning Design Specialist to support the development of engaging and effective online learning experiences within a specialist higher education environment.
Working closely with academics, project managers and subject matter experts, you will design and develop high-quality digital learning content, ensuring programmes are aligned to learning outcomes and delivered through best-practice instructional design principles.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop engaging online learning content and learning journeys.
Create storyboards, interactive modules and digital learning resources.
Collaborate with academics and stakeholders to translate technical subject matter into effective learning experiences.
Support the enhancement and development of virtual learning environments.
Ensure content meets educational standards, learning objectives and accessibility requirements.
Contribute to digital learning projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills Experience Experience in Digital Learning Design, Instructional Design or Learning Technology roles.
Strong experience with Canvas (or similar VLE/LMS platforms).
Experience creating interactive content using Articulate 360.
Proven track record working with academic stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Storyboarding and online content development expertise.
Experience delivering digital learning projects in a higher education or learning-focused environment.
Desirable STEM, Engineering or Technical Education experience.
Understanding of blended and online learning pedagogies.
Experience supporting learning technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
