Financial Services. Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join them in the Digital Ecosystem team. You'll help create foundational products and services that standardise and accelerate the adoption of Kubernetes and cloud technologies across the bank. These products will be consumed by high profile projects such as mobile banking to enable secure, automated, and resilient cloud-native deployments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and operating these core capabilities at scale.
The ideal candidate will have experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based continuous delivery. This role is based in London and will be via Umbrella, working in a hybrid model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience:- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes platforms and supporting components for enterprise-scale workloads.
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for secure, automated continuous delivery (mandatory).
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
- Implement robust cloud security controls, including network perimeter, WAF, and API gateways.
- Create utilities and functions in Python to streamline processes.
