Hybrid – 2/3 days per week onsite

I’m currently recruiting for a Programme Director – Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). This is a brand-new, high-profile role leading strategic coordination and assurance across the Derbyshire LGR programme, working with the Chief Executives of all ten councils and senior political and organisational stakeholders.

Key requirement:

Significant LGR experience is essential. We’re looking for someone with strong experience in:

  • Local Government Reorganisation / large-scale public sector reorganisation
  • Programme Director / senior leadership positions
  • Working across multiple councils or sovereign organisations
  • Political and senior stakeholder management
  • Programme governance, assurance, risk and dependency management
  • Leading complex, high-profile transformation programmes
  • Working with Chief Executives, elected Members and senior officers
  • Coordinating multiple PMOs and complex workstreams

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LGR Programme Director / senior transformation leader to play a key role in the creation of the proposed new unitary authorities across Derbyshire.
