The Role

We’re looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join the Technology Solutions & Services (TS&S) team, supporting the development and maturity of data governance across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the Data Governance Manager and business stakeholders to ensure governance frameworks are effectively implemented, embedded, and continuously improved. This is a hands-on role with a strong operational focus, ideal for someone passionate about data quality, governance, and driving best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of data governance activities within your assigned data domain
  • Assist in defining and implementing data governance standards and frameworks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to embed governance practices into processes
  • Facilitate data governance training and improve data literacy across teams
  • Support data quality initiatives, issue resolution, and governance enforcement
  • Conduct regular data governance health checks and track performance against goals
  • Develop and maintain governance artefacts and documentation
  • Ensure alignment between data governance operations and wider strategic objectives

About You

  • Experience in Data Governance or Data Management
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices
  • Familiarity with data management tools (e.g. data catalogues)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on operational excellence
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-driven mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
