Hybrid Working - Edinburgh or London - 1 day a week on site. Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Data Business Analyst to join the existing team on a brand-new project. This role will be via Umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops and engage with Pricing Leads/SMEs to ensure all business requirements are accurately captured and change requirements monitored.
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with tactical and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to data-driven projects by conducting thorough analysis, identifying key insights, and supporting Pricing decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain requirement catalogue, Business Requirement documents (BRD), functional and non-functional documents, and process maps.
- Identify potential risks and recommend improvements for a seamless transition.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst in the finance sector.
- Experience working with internal and external data, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, and machine learning.
