Our client is investing heavily in their move to cloud, and needs a Strategic Data Architect to make sure the value of their data scales with it.
You'll define the standards, patterns and strategic architecture that let data be shared, trusted and exploited across a genuinely complex stakeholder landscape.
What you'll be doing
- Setting strategic/conceptual data architecture across a broad estate of data assets
- Developing, owning and embedding key architectural artefacts
- Agreeing data standards and patterns with internal and external partners
- Enabling data interoperability and quality across delivery areas
- Reshaping data architecture as part of a cloud migration β more data-centric, more interoperable
- Building architecture that flexes with a fast-moving environment, including AI developments
- Contributing to the wider data office's strategy
What you'll need
- Strong background across data modelling, data standards, metadata management and/or data design (data lakes, warehouses, meshes, pipelines)
- Demonstrable AI experience β essential
- Comfort operating in a complex, congested space beyond a defined remit
- Strong stakeholder engagement and self-starting ability
- Active DV clearance or DV clearable
- Able to work 5 days a week on-site
