Hybrid Working - London - 2 days a week on site. Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Digital Finance Team supporting a strategic Liquidity Data Programme that underpins regulatory reporting and balance sheet management.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Finance and/or Regulatory Environment, with domain knowledge in:
- Liquidity
- Treasury
- Regulatory Reporting
This role will be via Umbrella. Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
What you'll do:
- Analyse and validate large, complex datasets across multiple systems
- Write SQL queries to extract, reconcile, and interrogate data
- Translate business requirements into clear data and functional specifications
- Support data mapping, lineage, and target-state design
- Design and execute test scenarios and data validation checks
- Facilitate UAT and support implementation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology
What you'll bring:
- Strong data analysis skills with hands-on experience working with complex datasets
- Solid SQL capability (data extraction, transformation, validation)
- Experience delivering analysis within a data or technology environment
- Ability to manage and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders
Highly desirable:
- Experience in Liquidity, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting
- Knowledge of frameworks such as LCR, PRA110, DILAA/SOC, ALMM
- Understanding of data modelling, mapping, and data quality controls
- Exposure to AI / advanced analytics techniques (e.g. data-driven automation, machine learning, or AI-enabled insights)
