Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a team of Funding Application Reviewers to support with the assessment and validation of community funding applications. Based at a central Manchester office, this role involves reviewing submissions from community groups and organisations, ensuring all applications meet the required eligibility criteria. You will play a key role in supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference within local communities. The position requires strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with care and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess funding applications thoroughly, identifying any discrepancies or concerns
- Validate information provided by applicants against relevant databases and sources
- Ensure all applications meet defined eligibility criteria and guidelines
- Investigate and elevate complex or high-risk cases to the appropriate teams in a timely manner
- Communicate with applicants via email to request further information where applications are incomplete or unclear
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all data is handled in line with compliance requirements
