Key Responsibilities:
- Focal point and lead for Customer Ecosystem build workstream
- Proactively drive and manage delivery pace and velocity.
- Accountable for workstream planning including identification and ongoing leadership of resources required to achieve work stream outcomes
- Understand key milestones and drive team to achieve them as efficiently as possible
- Focus on early identification and mitigation of risks & dependencies to avoid impact to plan
- Collaboration across programme workstreams to effectively manage key inter-dependencies
- Own issues and blockers that hinder progress, removing or escalating them until fully resolved
- Accountability for resource forecasting, assessing availability, inputting into group resourcing process and escalation of resource issues.
- Internal and external stakeholder management and influencing to ensure positive delivery outcomes and build credibility for the programme
- Commercial awareness and acumen, active management of internal and external programme costs to ensure efficiency and value realisation.
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership on plan progress, blockers impacting progress and plans for resolution.
- Responsible for creating a collaborative environment to focus on value-based delivery.
- Foster a learning culture based on continuous improvement and a focus on innovation.
Specific Skills:
- Experience of scaled delivery specifically in Transactional Banking sector
- Commercial acumen and evidence of vendor delivery management at scale – Circa £5m plus engagement
- Strong experience of complex integration, digital and core banking systems delivery programmes in a multi-vendor/partner context
- Evidence of stakeholder management and engagement including frequent Executive level engagement
- Ability to effectively run large workshops with multiple stakeholders to solve complex problems
- Able to effectively mobilise internal/external teams
- Ability to communicate at all levels, from technical teams through to senior leaders and Executives
- Experienced with defining and building robust plans & roadmaps with clear milestones and dependencies
- Knowledge and experience in coordinating with procurement, legal and 3rd parties to ensure contractual milestones are met
- Able to drill into detail and extract insight from data
