Cloud Analyst- Platform Engineering We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Analyst with AI experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Inside IR35 Hybrid Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain Azure, AWS and OCI Policy definitions, initiatives, and assignments to enforce enterprise governance and compliance standards as outlined by Architectural Standards.

Support the design, evolution and maintenance of cloud guardrails that enable secure, repeatable, and compliant AWS and OCI consumption at scale.

Analyze cloud environments for policy violations, configuration drift, and risk exposure, providing actionable recommendations to engineering and business partners.

Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Dev Ops teams to integrate compliance controls into Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) and CI/CD pipelines.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical standards, runbooks, and governance documentation.

Assist Team colleagues in monitoring and assignment of intake support requests.

Support responses to business leaders and stakeholders by translating technical compliance findings into clear, business-relevant insights.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance governance automation, reporting, and self-service capabilities.

Assist IT and LOB colleagues with Cloud Resource Standards adherence.

Experience Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a cloud or infrastructure engineering role.

Working knowledge of AWS, with experience in compute and core platform services (e. g., AWS Virtual Machines, App Services, networking fundamentals).

Additional OCI experience preferred.

Practical experience with AWS Policy, including authoring, testing, or maintaining policies or initiatives.

Experience and willingness to learn Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, or equivalent.

Familiarity with Dev Ops methods, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (e. g., Git).

Basic understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance concepts.

Exposure to cloud compliance frameworks (e. g., internal governance standards, ISO, SOC, or similar control-based models).

Experience working in a regulated or highly controlled enterprise environment.

Familiarity with AWS and OCI-native governance and security tools.

Familiarity with AI Tools such as Chat GPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini.

Basic scripting or automation skills using Power Shell, or Python.

Understanding of cost management and resource hygiene within AWS environments.
