As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Tax Compliance & Reporting Assistant Manager to join their finance team.

As the Tax Compliance & Reporting Assistant Manager, you will support the delivery of tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, working as part of a high-performing tax team. You will gain exposure to a wide range of tax matters while collaborating closely with finance, actuarial, and external advisors to ensure the business meets its obligations accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of UK corporate tax returns and tax computations
  • Assist with international tax compliance, liaising with external advisors where required
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual tax reporting, including IFRS or UK GAAP provisions
  • Assist with tax accounting, including deferred tax calculations and disclosures
  • Work with internal teams to gather financial and operational data for tax purposes
  • Support interactions with external auditors, HMRC, and advisors
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation and related requirements
  • Contribute to maintaining tax risk controls and compliance processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
  • Support senior team members on ad hoc tax projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting, either in practice or industry
  • Exposure to financial services or a large multinational environment is beneficial
  • Good understanding of UK tax principles and reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

  • Experience or exposure to the insurance sector
  • Familiarity with IFRS or UK GAAP tax reporting
  • Exposure to international tax matters
  • Experience working with large datasets or improving processes
