Lorien's leading banking client is looking for an Informatica MDM Engineer with strong experience in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) to join an expanding project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience and knowledge of MDM solutions, experience with migrations, and strong development skills. This role will be via Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Informatica MDM solutions on-premises and on IDMC Cloud platforms.
- Lead the migration process of MDM systems from on-premises infrastructure to Informatica IDMC Cloud.
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and IT teams to define migration scope, strategy, and timelines.
- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality checks to ensure integrity during migration.
- Develop and maintain MDM workflows, match/merge rules, survivorship rules, and business rules.
- Configure and customise Informatica MDM and IDMC Cloud components to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues related to MDM data models, hub servers, IDMC services, and integration points.
- Assist in performance tuning and optimisation of MDM and IDMC processes.
- Document migration processes, architecture changes, and provide training/support to internal teams.
- Stay updated with the latest Informatica IDMC Cloud features and MDM best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) with Informatica MDM on-premises implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), including Cloud MDM modules.
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts: data modelling, survivorship, match and merge strategies.
- Experience in migrating data and applications from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Proficient in ETL processes, data integration, and data governance frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica MDM and IDMC certifications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Exposure to other Informatica products like PowerCenter, Data Quality, or EDC.
