Lorien is supporting a key public sector client in the recruitment of an experienced Change & Transformation Programme Manager to lead a high-profile service redesign and organisational change initiative. This role will focus on workforce transition, governance, implementation planning and embedding new operating models across a complex stakeholder environment.
Duration: 13 Weeks Initially with potential 13 week extension
Location: Inverness (Predominantly Remote with occasional travel to Inverness office)
Rate: £333 per day inside IR35
Essential Skills, Competences, Experience and Relevant Qualifications
- Significant experience leading complex organisational change and service redesign programmes.
- Experience implementing new organisational structures and operating models.
- Demonstrable experience delivering workforce transition, restructuring and consultation activity.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership teams, HR functions and key stakeholders.
- Strong governance, programme management and implementation planning experience.
- Experience developing transition plans and embedding new ways of working.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence at all levels.
- Experience managing programme risks, issues, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Experience facilitating workshops and supporting teams through organisational change.
- Experience producing reports, updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Experience within local government environments.
- Experience leading organisational redesign or transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of workforce planning and organisational development practices.
