My client who sits within Higher Education, is looking for a Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme focused on enhancing operational services, improving user experience and delivering more efficient, compliant and technology-enabled ways of working. This is an exciting opportunity to work across Finance, Operations, Technology and Service Delivery teams, helping to shape future processes and services that support a large and complex organisation.
Duties to Include
- Mapping and documenting current ("as-is") processes
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops and interviews
- Conducting business process analysis and pain point assessments
- Producing solution options and recommendations
- Designing future-state processes and target operating models
- Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements
- Supporting the development of a multi-year transformation business case
- Reviewing processes relating to research-funded staffing, partner payments, foreign currency transactions and research finance operations
- Helping shape digital improvements, including timesheet solutions and management reporting dashboards.
Essential Skills and Experiences
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering technology-enabled change programmes.
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles and business change methodologies.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling and business analysis techniques.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience analysing business processes, data and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to challenging timescales.
