Overview
DORA Business Analyst - Hybrid Working - Outside IR35
Our client, a global Insurance broker, is looking to hire a Business Analyst with DORA programme experience to join the team on a hybrid contract basis. The client site for this role is in London, and the role would be onsite 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Work with the DORA Programme Director, TOM Workstream Lead, Tooling Workstream Lead and Group Head of TPRM to support creation of data dictionaries, data entity relationship diagrams for integration design, business process flows and RACI models for those processes
- Support the program director in creation, review and refinement of the group DORA programme artefacts, working with the relevant team members in CRO, CIO and COO functions and external consultants as required
- Develop, manage and maintain an inventory of all artefacts that need to be embedded
- Develop additional materials as needed that will enable the deployment of the key artefacts
- Work with the Implementation Workstream Lead to engage with local entity COO teams to adopt centrally created group artefacts for local implementation, including swim-lane process diagrams, role descriptions, and a RACI model
- Conduct Quality Assurance reviews on local adopted artefacts including Control Frameworks, Risk Assessments, IT DR plans, business continuity plans
- Create DORA business requirements and user stories for key technology implementation programmes including the ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM and TPRM tools
- Support the creation and coordination of DORA-compliant Target Operating Model (TOM) for both Group and Local Entities that can support the needs of other large scale change initiatives, working with representatives of Group COO, CRO and CIO teams, as well as local entity COOs
- Escalate issues and challenges to the DORA programme director and Group COO as required
Required Skills
- Full understanding of the DORA regulations and experience in implementing the regulations
- Extensive experience developing & delivering business requirements, data models and data dictionaries, swim-line process diagrams, entity relationship diagrams and RACI models
- Experience working in regulated financial services entities, ideally insurance
- High level of proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint and Word, ideally Visio or other modelling tools
- Knowledge of and experience working in a 3-line of defence operating model
