The Opportunity

We are supporting a leading UK retail organisation on a high-visibility transformation programme focused on evolving how employee recognition and reward is delivered. This initiative aims to move beyond traditional tenure-based recognition towards a more dynamic, performance-led approach, underpinned by a new, integrated digital platform. The organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of delivery, governance, and stakeholder alignment across this complex programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management of a strategic HR / reward transformation initiative
  • Stakeholder management across HR, Reward, Finance, Technology, and Communications teams
  • Manage third-party vendors and support solution implementation (e.g. recognition platforms)
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
  • Own RAID logs, reporting packs, and governance processes
  • Drive clear, consistent communication across all programme stakeholders
  • Oversee financial tracking, budgeting, and resource planning
  • Support change and adoption to ensure successful rollout of new systems and processes

Key Deliverables

  • Full project plan and governance framework
  • Defined success metrics for platform adoption and impact
  • Delivery of the first phase of the recognition platform (target Q4)
  • Smooth transition from legacy processes to new digital solution
  • Contribution to the wider multi-year platform rollout roadmap

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across multiple business functions
  • Experience working with HR, Reward, or Employee Experience initiatives (highly desirable)
  • Strong vendor management and system implementation experience
  • Excellent planning, reporting, and governance capability
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving programme environments
