Within our Aviation portfolio, Routes is a world-leading series of global route development events, connecting airlines, airports and destinations through powerful face-to-face experiences.
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Events to take ownership of the global Routes event portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering complex international events from concept to execution, while shaping strategy, driving growth, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a global portfolio of events
- Oversee exhibition build, meetings programmes, logistics, travel and customer experience
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, large-scale events (1,000–3,000+ attendees)
- Contribute to portfolio strategy and long-term growth plans
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, product innovation and improved customer experience
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to maximise event performance
- Oversee event budgets, cost management and operational profitability
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of event professionals (including Event, Travel and Host Managers)
This is a “hit-the-ground-running” leadership role, ideal for someone with deep experience in complex event environments. You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale international exhibitions and conferences
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams
- Expertise in event operations, logistics and budget management
