Dev Sec Ops / Data Engineer Southampton (Hybrid - minimum 1 day per week onsite, Wednesdays)6 Months400pd Inside of IR35 We are seeking an experienced Dev Sec Ops / Data Engineer to join a major data delivery programme, developing secure, scalable cloud solutions within a modern Azure environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale data processing platforms, leveraging Databricks, Spark and Azure cloud technologies to support critical business and geospatial data services.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain software components and data processing modules.
Build scalable, secure solutions using Azure and Databricks.
Develop Spark and Scala-based data processing capabilities.
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
Build, maintain and optimise Azure data pipelines.
Essential Skills & Experience Strong Azure Dev Ops experience.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including: Entra IDAzure Batch Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)Azure Data Factory (ADF)Databricks development experience, including Unity Catalog.
Strong Apache Spark and Scala expertise.
