Overview
As a Business Systems Analyst, you own Salesforce and act as the process authority within our AI Enablement team. You translate business needs into a prioritized roadmap and identify where AI and automation can streamline work, ensuring changes land in the systems people use daily. You manage the backlog and collaborate with a managed service partner, embedding capabilities across core systems. You partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own the Salesforce backlog and roadmap prioritised by business value
- Act as single point of clarity for system requirements and rationale
- Translate business needs into well-scoped requirements and user stories
- Liaise as working-level intelligent client to the managed service partner
- Ensure changes are tested, adopted and deliver the intended benefit
- Identify opportunities where AI/automation can reduce manual effort and surface them in a prioritised pipeline
- Embed AI capabilities into Salesforce and core systems for day-to-day use
- Map and redesign business processes to reduce manual work before system changes
- Maintain internal knowledge of systems and processes to reduce external dependency
Key requirements
- Experience as a business analyst or product owner for Salesforce or a comparable system
- Strong process analysis and workflow mapping skills
- Ability to understand business goals and translate them into clear requirements
- Confidence acting as an intelligent client to a delivery partner
- Pragmatic, value-led approach to prioritisation
- Interest in applying AI/automation to well-designed processes
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and administration concepts or ability to learn quickly
