We're looking for a Platform Engineer to build and maintain scalable, secure and high‑performance data platforms. You'll play a key role in ensuring reliable data services while working closely with data scientists, analysts and engineering teams. What you'll be doing * Building and maintaining scalable data platform infrastructure * Ensuring high availability, performance and security of data services * Developing and maintaining data pipelines * Collaborating with data teams to integrate tools and services * Troubleshooting complex platform and data infrastructure issues * Supporting cross‑team integration with wider systems and applications * Driving improvements across platform architecture and design What we're looking for * Strong experience in platform engineering / operations (Linux‑based) * Experience with data platforms or big data environments * Understanding of data lake architectures and data governance * Strong knowledge of security (encryption, access control, vulnerability management) * Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, Puppet) * Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) Nice to have: * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) * Experience with Cloudera / Hadoop ecosystems (Spark, Hive, HDFS) * Work on modern data platforms at scale * Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams * Opportunity to shape platform architecture and best practice If you're passionate about data platforms, automation and scalable infrastructure - apply now.
