Overview
In this role you will design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI and API layers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to raise quality across the SDLC. You will drive code-quality practices, support CI/CD and shift-left testing, and rapidly diagnose and resolve defects. The position focuses on modern automation using Playwright and API-first testing within a collaborative agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks
- Create and execute automated tests for web applications and APIs
- Drive quality engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps teams
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to shift-left testing approaches
- Analyze defects, identify root causes and ensure rapid resolution
Key requirements
- API Test Automation experience
- Hands-on Playwright for modern UI test automation
- Experience developing and maintaining Selenium automation frameworks
- Strong REST API testing, validation and automation
- Proven UI Automation Testing experience
- Experience creating automated test suites from functional and non-functional requirements
- Knowledge of test design techniques and quality engineering principles
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Proactive and quality-focused
