Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements:
- Extensive Azure data engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake and Databricks
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and modern data pipeline development
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Knowledge of data governance, security and quality assurance
- Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills
- Desirable: Spark, Terraform/Bicep, streaming/IoT data experience and Azure certifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction of a modern Azure-based data platform
- Shape data engineering standards
- Design scalable lakehouse architectures
- Drive innovation across Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks environments
- Work closely with data scientists, architects and engineering teams
- Deliver robust, secure and high-performing data solutions
- Act as the technical authority for data engineering best practice
