A leading financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Senior IT Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit function. This is a high-profile role offering the opportunity to lead complex technology audit engagements, influence senior stakeholders, and help shape the organisation's approach to technology risk, governance and control.
You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of audits across areas including Cyber Security, IT Operations, Data Governance, Operational Resilience and Emerging Technology Risk, while supporting the continuous evolution of modern audit practices. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of IT audits and assurance reviews, ensuring high-quality delivery across planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up.
- Prioritise competing audit activities and manage resources effectively to meet business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on technology risk and control matters to audit colleagues and stakeholders.
- Focus audit activity on key organisational risks, adapting scope and approach as required.
- Coach and develop Internal Audit Managers and junior team members, helping to strengthen capability across the function.
- Build credibility with senior stakeholders through evidence-led challenge and insightful recommendations.
- Identify recurring themes, trends and risk patterns across audit activity to provide broader organisational insight.
- Ensure emerging issues and risks are escalated promptly and effectively.
