Responsibilities
- Shape the product roadmap with senior leadership, aligning priorities and commercial targets
- Translate customer and market signals into buildable requirements and make tough prioritisation calls
- Maintain roadmap relevance as scope and information evolve
- Coordinate cross-functionalRelease planning with engineering, quality, operations, service and commercial teams
- Own backlog and release-readiness within the formal product commercialisation framework
- Identify and escalate risks—technical, regulatory, security, or supply-related—and route to the right owner
- Manage product budgets, including cost-to-completion visibility and spend prioritisation
- Demonstrate commercial fluency (margins, pricing, revenue) in business-case discussions with Finance/Commercial
- Provide input to regulatory and legal paperwork (change-impact assessments, labeling) with RA/QA support
- Communicate status, rationale, and decisions clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Translate customer feedback into product positioning and competitive advantage
- Use real-world usage data to improve usability and satisfaction post-launch
- Run focused meetings with actionable outcomes
Key requirements
- Degree in a technical or business subject or equivalent track record
- Hands-on technical product management experience in an R&D/Engineering/Manufacturing context
- Experience across full product lifecycle from concept to delivery
- Strong relationship management with stakeholders and distributors
- Ability to prioritise under pressure and present to leadership and external partners
- Ability to challenge requirements and communicate credibly with technical teams
- Natural collaborator able to secure buy-in from diverse teams and levels
- Strong written and spoken communication; resilience to shifting priorities
