Lorien are partnering with a leading name in Manchester to strengthen their InfoSec capabilities and ensure resilience against cyber threats. This is a hands-on role focused on protecting the organisation's network and systems from cyber-attacks.
Responsibilities
- Protect the organisation's network and systems from cyber-attacks
- Manage and remediate security incidents
- Tune SIEM alerts and support endpoint detection and response tooling
- Contribute to post-incident investigations
- Lead vulnerability identification and remediation
- Produce security reporting and metrics
- Support deployment and maintenance of security tooling across the estate
- Collaborate with the IT Security & Compliance Manager to shape cyber defence strategy
- Educate stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure support or within a SOC/security team
- Strong understanding of Microsoft O365/Azure Security, endpoint and email security tooling
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and IT Service Management platforms
- Knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats and security technologies
- Experience with vulnerability identification and remediation
