This is not a "test at the end" role, you'll shape how quality is approached across the full lifecycle, influencing design, delivery, and production outcomes.
The OpportunityThis is a role where you'll drive a quality‐first mindset, embedding best practices, improving how the team works, and ensuring releases are both fast and reliable. You'll help move quality earlier into the process (shift‐left), while also using real production insights to improve decisions (observability‐led quality).There's strong scope to influence how QA operates within the team, from testing strategy through to continuous improvement.
What You'll Be DoingDriving QA strategy and best practices within an Agile delivery teamEnsuring tests are applied at the right level (unit, integration, end‐to‐end) for effective coverage and risk mitigationEmbedding shift‐left testing, ensuring quality is considered early in design and developmentLeading exploratory testing to uncover issues real users might experienceUsing monitoring, metrics, and logs to drive observability‐led quality and improve production outcomesIdentifying risks early and helping the team make informed decisionsImproving QA processes, standards, and ways of working across the teamMentoring QA colleagues and working closely with engineers to build a culture of qualitySupporting automation strategies and ensuring the right tests are prioritisedWhat You BringStrong experience in modern QA practices including shift‐left, exploratory testing, and Agile deliveryExperience working across API testing, SQL, and testability practicesA solid understanding of the testing pyramid and risk‐based quality approachesExperience using data, metrics, and observability to improve quality outcomesA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team collaborationAbility to balance speed, risk, and quality to support confident releases The Benefits: As well as working within a supportive team you'll have these perks available, and much more: Salary 50,000Hybrid workingEnhanced company pension Company bonus schemeSubmit your CV now to be considered or reach out for further information.
