Utilities Sector Perth (50% onsite) 6 Month Contract £550-£600/day (Inside IR35)

About the Role

We're supporting a major utilities organisation at the heart of the energy transition as they continue to build out their market-leading energy trading and optimisation capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team driving value across a diverse portfolio of generation and customer assets on the journey to net zero.

The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering a range of initiatives across a front-office value stream. This includes supporting the setup of new international trading capabilities, onboarding new generation assets, and delivering system and process enhancements. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery across a varied roadmap of work - from strategic transformation pieces to medium-sized system changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis activities across multiple initiatives, capturing and documenting requirements in appropriate formats
  • Translate business needs into actionable deliverables, supporting sprint planning and delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across both business and technical teams
  • Support Agile delivery, actively participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
