Embedded Software Engineer
Contract - Inside IR35

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support a small, enthusiastic team of engineers delivering innovative technology solutions for our key customers.

What you will do
- Prototype innovative wireless solutions.
- Develop embedded software and firmware in C/C++, mainly on platforms such as Microblaze or RISC-V.
- Work in an agile environment to build prototypes.
- Take proven prototypes forward to a deployment-ready standard.
- Work with embedded Linux, including tools such as Buildroot and Yocto.
- Configure U-Boot, kernel and device trees.
- Build and deploy embedded Linux systems in offline environments.
Essential skills
- Experience programming embedded systems in C/C++.
- Experience with bare-metal and embedded Linux environments.
- Experience with Linux device drivers, including DMA, interrupts and device trees.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing.
- Knowledge of software defined radio.
- Please note due to the nature of this role candidates must either hold current SC clearance or be willing to go through the SC clearance process.
