Our client, a well-established enterprise organisation, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Backup & Recovery Administrator to support and manage their enterprise data protection platforms. This is a great opportunity for a skilled backup specialist to take ownership of critical infrastructure services within a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong operational experience with Commvault, Rubrik, and enterprise backup and recovery technologies, including VM, file, database, and application restores. The role covers day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, recovery activities, DR testing, and continuous service improvement.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience administering Commvault and/or Rubrik environments
  • Strong backup, restore, and disaster recovery experience
  • Experience supporting VMware, Windows, Linux, SQL Server, NAS, and enterprise storage platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot backup failures, recovery issues, and performance problems
  • Experience with backup policy management, retention, replication, and reporting
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational support environments

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain backup and recovery services
  • Resolve backup failures and conduct root cause analysis
  • Assist with platform upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and recovery procedures
