IT Project Manager- CMDB/ ITOM

We are currently recruiting for a IT Project Manager with CMDB AND ITOM experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

The Role

  • Project Planning (Resources, Activities, Infrastructure and Dependencies)
  • Estimation, Scheduling, implementation, managing delivery activities
  • RMP (Risk Mitigation Plan)- (Product, Resources, Contractual deliveries, RFP Planning, ensuring agreed points are getting delivered, Solutioning for Gaps)
  • Project Organisation Management (People Management)
  • Budget and benefit Management (Cost/Efforts/Schedule)
  • Ensure Implementation site (customer site) for readiness
  • Handover of all the artifacts, handing over to BAU team while project enters the support phase
  • Attend and chair meetings to update the stakeholder(s)
  • Develop talent and enhance team capabilities by maintaining high team morale and productivity. Producing and managing a plan
  • Defining and identifying project scope. Facilitating DLD (Detailed level design) and HLD (High level design). Determine resource availability
  • Required to manage demand for enhancements to CMDB and ITOM for all technology asset data and configuration items.
  • The Requirements
  • Service Now CMDB setup, configuration and management. Experience in Data modelling, Service Mapping and data management policies in Service Now preferred.
  • Preferred experience in CMDB health including identifying areas for improvement
  • Asset Lifecycle Management experience including SAM, HAM and SACM services.
  • Experience of Flexera One preferred.
  • Strong experience of project management essential. 5 plus years of relevant experience required
  • Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience, preferably in large scale Cyber Security focused change projects/programme
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise at Leadership levels.
  • Experience of large scale multi project delivery in an international financial services organisation - regulated environment, desirable
  • PMP / Prince 2 certified with solid understanding of managing stage gate processes
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology
  • Ability to work in hybrid model and use best practices across agile and waterfall
  • Ability to manage complex inter project dependencies within programme and across the portfolio
  • Proficient in Portfolio reporting tools, Office 365 (Microsoft Teams/ Share Point Online), Microsoft Project, MS Excel, Azure Dev Ops
